The Performance Report works like a stock ticker for your machines. Pick a collection
date and it shows you how each machine performed compared to the previous collection
entry for that machine -- with a percentage change, color-coded green for up and
red for down.
How the Comparison Works
For each machine, the report finds two data points:
- This entry -- the collection weight recorded on the date you selected.
- Prior entry -- the most recent collection recorded before the selected date for that same machine.
The percentage change is calculated as:
((this entry − prior entry) ÷ prior entry) × 100
Cards are sorted with the biggest gainers at the top, followed by the biggest
losers, then flat, then machines with no prior entry to compare against.
Reading the Cards
- ↑ Green percentage -- the machine collected more than the previous visit.
- ↓ Red percentage -- the machine collected less than the previous visit.
- ▬ Gray 0.00% -- no change between the two entries.
- No prior entry -- this machine has an entry on the selected date but no earlier entry to compare against. The current weight is still shown.
Each card also shows the raw weights for both entries and the date of the prior
collection, so you can see exactly how far back the comparison reaches.
Coins & Bills Machines
For machines that collect both coins and bills, the card shows the coin weight
alongside the bill count for both the current and prior entry, so you can compare
both streams at a glance.
The Date Picker
Dates with a red dot have collection entries
for the selected location. Only coin machines are shown -- bill-only machines are
excluded since their count doesn't translate to a weight-based percentage comparison.
Summary Bar
The bar below the filters shows a count of how many machines went up, down, stayed
flat, or had no prior entry for the selected date -- a quick snapshot before you
scroll through the cards.
